Below are remembrances of our family members. If you have someone that is part of our family and you would like to include please don't hesitate to reach out.

LOGAN CARR

Logan was a vibrant young man. He was a senior at Reedy High School in Frisco, TX and an AP student taking half his classes at the local college. He had been accepted at over 10 universities but had decided to pursue a business degree at Baylor University. Logan was also a four-year lacrosse letterman, had become an Eagle Scout, and he enjoyed volunteering and helping those that were less fortunate than him.

In particular, Logan really enjoyed his experience though The Young Men's Service League (YMSL) as a volunteer for several charities. His favorite volunteering effort was as a buddy at The Miracle League of Frisco (MLF) - a charitable sports organization for special needs children from the ages of 5 through 22. MLF was especially impactful for Logan as he loved working with and getting to know the kids as they advanced their experiences with sports.

In November 2019 at the age of 17, and half way through his senior year of high school, Logan was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive cancer, Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT). Logan underwent intense chemotherapy and many medical procedures yet he maintained a positive and focused mind set. He never complained as he understood that facing challenges is not unique to him. This perspective was only further developed though his time with YMSL and his work with MLF.

Logan passed away a short 7 months after diagnosis. In that brief time, he inspired those that walked the road with him by not letting his struggle with cancer define him. Instead, he chose happiness and continued to work towards the goals he had set for himself.

In the spirit of Logan's bravery, faith, and inspiration, all donations in lieu of flowers will be gifted to The Miracle League of Frisco.

Checks may be written and mailed directly to The Miracle League of Frisco, PO Box 2831, Frisco, TX 75034. Please note on the check Logan Strong.
