Miracle League Soccer

To provide a supervised, safe environment for our athletes to have fun experiencing and participating in soccer.

ALL GAMES ARE OUTSIDE. Our buddy league will be capped this year at 40 athletes. Please keep in mind your avilability for the season since we have so few spots.

League Types

There will be four different types of league:

Wheelchair - Every child will have a buddy (volunteer) with them. The buddys will assist the athletes to make plays on the ball while they are in their wheelchair/walker. The ball is a jumbo soccer ball.

Buddy - Every child will have a buddy (volunteer) with them. The athletes are encouraged to participate in our drills to the best of their ability. During the scrimmage, they will be encouraged to kick the ball in the correct direction their team is going, not use their hands, pass the ball, and of course score! There are no stoppages of play except for the end of a quarter. There are no types of goal kicks, free kicks, etc. except for the kickoff after a goal is scored. There are no referees, but instead have some volunteer coaches or field monitors who encourage kids to play, ensure every child has the chance to score, and keep the flow of the game moving. There are no yellow or red cards.

Intermediate - The coaches are on the field and there will be a single ref for the games. There are corner kicks, goal kicks, free kicks, and other various aspects of the game. There are no yellow or red cards, however, if an issue arises that the coaches cannot handle, the director of the league will address the issue. This league generally plays like U10-U12 league. It is recommended to have shin guards, as the players tend to be a bit larger physically and are able to make more plays on the ball, but they are not required.  Practice and game balls are provided the day of the game. Cleats are recommended, but not required. THERE ARE NO BUDDYS (Volunteers). If your athlete has high elopement tendencies, this league is not for them.

Competitive - The coaches are on the field and there will be at least a single ref for the games. There are corner kicks, goal kicks, free kicks, and other various aspects of the game. There are no yellow or red cards, however, if an issue arises that the coaches cannot handle, the director of the league will address the issue. This league generally plays like U18 league. It is recommended to have shin guards, as the players tend to be a bit larger physically and are able to make more plays on the ball, but they are not required.  Practice and game balls are provided the day of the game. Cleats are recommended, but not required.
